PHONE SCAM ALERT

Dear exhibitors and buyers,

It has been brought to our attention that many of you are getting calls from people claiming to be representatives/employees of TransWorld Trade Shows, claiming to offer discount hotel vouchers. THESE ARE SCAM ARTISTS. DO NOT BE TAKEN IN.

TransWorld will NEVER call you about your hotel accommodations; we have set up our own deals and discounts with area hotels, which you can find on any of our show sites on the “Hotels” page, and anything we have to tell you about hotels will be done via TransWorld’s show websites, mailing lists and social media.

TransWorld has had to deal with hotel scammers for years, but they’ve never actually claimed to work for TransWorld and we find this trend concerning.

Please, if somebody claiming to represent TransWorld reaches out to you, ESPECIALLY IF THEY’RE ASKING FOR A CREDIT CARD NUMBER FOR ANY REASON, verify the person’s identity before proceeding. You can find TransWorld’s legitimate contact information on the “Contact Us” page of any of our show websites.
